Snow sports on the roll

We were incredibly excited about our romantic journey to Kashmir and anxiously anticipating some adventure. We, therefore, spent our first day in Gulmarg engaging in exciting snow activities. One of the highlights of our trip was skiing on the white carpet of snow. We also took a motor and sled trip. My wife and I were first a little anxious about how we would handle things, but the trainer and the ideal equipment allayed all of our anxieties.

Making the most of our trip, we tried our hand at skiing and rode sleds down the slopes. We skied, climbed, rolled, and fell on the ice, but we took care to leave nothing behind for us to regret later.

The Gondola point

On our second day, we awoke early, devoured a lovely breakfast, and then began the day with a Gondola Ride. Reaching 2600 m above sea level only takes 10 to 15 minutes by gondola. But there will be an enormous rush if one waits to purchase a gondola ticket. We were treated to breathtaking vistas during our ride on the gondola as the snow and mist veiled and revealed themselves in front of our eyes.

We were in awe of the spectacular vista when we finally arrived at the point. We were relishing in the splendor of our romantic trip to Kashmir, complete with some thrilling snow sports, Kashmiri Kahwa, and the well-known hill station maggi. Heaven really does “lay in the Kashmir,” it appeared!
